Music

I play the cello. I've played the cello for 9 years in a program called YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles) and I am in the highest orchestra the program offers ESO (Expo Symphony Orchestra), YOLA is a non-profit organization partnered with The LA Philharmonic, The Harmony Project, The Expo Center that helps under privileged kids with providing them with instruments and free music lesson.

Recitals

At the end of every Spring and Winter semester we have recitals which contain different instrument group classes.

Community Concerts

Like our recitals, our community concerts are performances we do every end of the season, although instead of just being performances as a group class it is a performance as an orchestra.

Grand Performances

I have gotten the amazing experience of being able to perform at beautiful venues along side famous artist. I have performed numerous times at the Walt Disney Concert Hall being conducted by Gustavo Dudamel and the Hollywood bowl with huge artist like Gloria Estefan and Journey. I performed at the Super Bowl 50th Halftime Show and even gone on a California Tour with my orchestra here in our hometown of Los Angeles, Visalia, Fresno and Oakland.

Mentorship

I am currently in the highest orchestra and I am a mentor, On Saturday Mornings I mentor younger students in the younger orchestras.

Fundraising Committee

I am part of the fundraising committee within my music program. I am co-leader with my sister and we organize Bake sales, Valentine grams and Practice-a-thons.
