Scratch

Our class just started learning scratch. It has been very cool. We’ve done small assignments and are going to make bigger projects soon.

This is a small project we did. I got history dates and pictures that represent the date. When you click the green flag it shows all the dates, but when you click a picture individually it tells you what it represents and the date. I liked this project the most because it was cool to make something ,but also practice a little bit of history on the way.

In this scratch I used broadcast, this was the first time I used broadcast. Learning this took me some time to get the hang of it but it easy once I got it.

After learning scratch for a couple weeks I made a game myself. It was really fun working on a game myself, using all the tools I have learn and putting all the strategies myself

In learning scratch I have accomplished a lot! I now know how to make a game. While working on this game I have learned how to overcome obstacles of the unknown not stopping me, if I didn't know how to do something then I would ask or look it up. By learning scratch I have improved my skills of problem solving, technological literacy and being personally responsible. It was cool to learn scratch and make my own game
